Blocking websites

In the UAE, Etisalat controls the internet until now because in the future du will be also handling it with Etisalat. However some websites are blocked by Etisalat. Some people like these and on the other hand some of them argue with it. I’m going to talk about these arguments.
There are some major arguments for blocking. The first benefit of blocking websites is safety for children. For example, when Etisalat blocks bad website the children can’t enter them. Secondly, stopping the hackers from teaching people who can’t learn hacking from the website is a good idea. Last argument is that it blocks against bad political websites, because some people have learn bad things from these websites and they find false information about countries.

However, there are many important reasons against blocking websites. The first point against is that, Etisalat cannot allow some websites about married life and that causes divorce. Secondly, blocking all political websites and that causes political ignorance from people. Finally, each website has different information, which is like a double side fiction you can use it in either a good or bad way.

In conclusion, both methods blocking websites and allowing them have advantages. However, I prefer blocking bad websites than allowing them because we can use books to learn specific things.

Examinations

Today many students think that examinations are an unfair way of assessment and should not be used at HCT. However I feel some students disagree with this idea. I will discuss both sides of the argument.
Many students think that examinations are old way fashioned forms of assessment. However they prefer the projects to be the final assessment to grade in some subjects you can’t judge the students by examinations. Also some students in HCT are not young and they have families and children so they don’t have enough time to study. So exams do not support their lifestyle.
However, some students do like the traditional way of assessment which are examinations. They feel that way is more fair than any other way because all students will have the same questions so the will be graded on their knowledge. Also some students are very clever and they don’t study. They need only an exam to prove their understanding of the subject. In fact, we can’t change the examination assessment method because all subjects must have exams even if it works with technical jobs. It must have an exam at least, one exam.
In conclusion, I think the examination method is better because it’s more fair than others. However, each college or university has their methods that fit with the subjects and students.

Using mobile phones while you are on the roads

Using mobile phones, while driving sometime, could be very dangerous. However, sometimes we have to use the mobile phone when it’s very important. Some argue that using hand held phones should be made illegal while others argue that it is n invaluable convenience.
First, if illegal then police can stop people on the road. If there is low then police are able to enforce it and give people tickets. Also the accidents percentage will go down if people aren’t using their mobiles while driving. Then they will concentrate on their driving. Also the traffic fines will help pay for traffic safety programs.
However, there are many people who argue that. First, if you have an important call, and you don’t have head phone what are you going to do? Also businessmen need to talk on their phone all the time. Also sometimes you are driving when somebody describes to you the place that you are looking for. These are many arguments that support using the phones while driving.
In conclusion, in my opinion using the phones while driving is very necessary but you have to be carful about it, although there are those who disagree.

The UAE Marriage Fund

Getting married today in these current conditions is very hard. But the government has made a plan to make marriage much easier than before, because there were many effects caused by the difficulty of marrying local women. And they established the UAE Marriage Fund to solve these effects.
Thirty years ago marriage was simpler than now. Today the weddings cost more than anybody can imagine. Most Emirati people who want to get married today are taking a loan to cover those wedding requirements. Also the rest of the Emiratis are afraid to get married because they don’t want them to start them life with a big loan. And there is another type of local who gets married outside the UAE because it much cheaper and this is the most important problem because the numbers of single ladies in UAE is going up and the tradition here is judging us.
Today, the UAE Marriage Fund is helping local young people to get married with comfortable ways by giving them money and providing wedding halls with the lower cost. Also the Marriage Fund is protecting the young people by educating them from the risks of marrying non-national women. And there are many groups in the UAE who are requiring locals to get married with local women to reduce the number of single Emirati ladies.
In conclusion the government and the Marriage Fund are very helpful for young Emiratis. Also, they are improving their instructions to give to couples every year. And we hope from the Emirati families to be more eager about marrying their sons and daughters.

Obesity in the UAE

One of the problems we have in the UAE society is obesity in many people. Many reasons make the people obese and the solutions are not found by most of them. Some of those reasons are from lifestyle or education or mistaken beliefs.
Obesity in the UAE started to appear in 1990 when fast-food restaurants started to spread. Many Emirati people like fast-food until it has become a habit and the traditional foods has become as now a type of fast-food. Also, Emiratis’ lifestyle is very easy. It is a kind and relaxing life. These method situations made a lot of people lazy and not think about doing any kind of sports. The last reason is that UAE people don’t have good knowledge about healthy food. They like to eat everything even if it has a large amount of fat or calories.
To avoid obesity there are many ideas and solutions. The government has to open new kinds of restaurants which are offering only healthy food everywhere. Also they have to make a program for anybody who is overweight by registering him in a special club. The last solution is to advertise and teach the people how to choose healthy foods.
In conclusion, there are many ways to help and protect the UAE people from obesity, but we have to try hard to protect our health first. Because the responsibility for obesity is the person himself then the society.

Oil products are very important for our life. Many of us do not know how oil is refined. I will talk about how oil is refined. And how we use it in our cars.

First, oil is located by geologic survey teams. Then oil is pumped via pipeline to another place. Some the oil is stored in tanks and the other is refined into various products, including petrol. Then, petrol is stored in tanks before it’s transported to petrol stations. At the petrol stations petrol is stored in underground tanks. In the final stage, petrol is pumped into cars
This step shows us how oil is refined and how is the petrol steps pumped in our cars after a long period.
